Elizabeth “Suzy” Wilson

Elizabeth (Suzy) Wilson is an experienced Nashville attorney specializing in corporate and real estate law, with an emphasis on land and retail development. Until recently, she served as Assistant General Counsel at Bridgestone Americas, Inc., where she provided legal counsel to the Real Estate, Construction, and Procurement functions. Before her time at Bridgestone, Wilson was Associate General Counsel at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., leading legal representation for the company’s Real Estate, Property Management, Strategic Sourcing and other commercial departments. While there, her representation/supervision resulted in the opening of approximately 250 stores. She also co-founded Cracker Barrel Cares, a 501(c)(3) organization and collaborated with the Cracker Barrel Foundation. Other prior positions include serving as in-house counsel for a national retail company based in Nashville and a local financial institution, as well as working in private practice. Wilson holds both a J.D. and a B.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Wilson serves on Historic Nashville's Easements Committee. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for Sigma Kappa Sorority at Austin Peay State University and is on the Board of Directors for the Len Atkins Project, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of colorectal cancer.

Wilson resides in Green Hills in a home built in 1939, one of the few remaining “originals” on her street. Originally from Knoxville, she is currently authoring a book about her childhood neighborhood, now a historically protected area of over 160 homes.
