Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the LeQuire Gallery

January 28, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a tour of the LeQuire Art Gallery in Nashville

LeQuire Gallery is an unexpectedly large and beautiful space on, the now very bustling, Charlotte Avenue corridor in Nashville, TN.  The gallery represents some of the area’s most popular artists, as well as nationally recognized contemporary painters and sculptors such as Juliette Aristides founder of the Aristides Atelier at the Gage Academy in Seattle, Maggie Rose who teaches at the New York Academy of Art, and anchor artist, Alan LeQuire, best known for his colossal Nashville landmarks Athena Parthenos (the largest indoor statue in the western world, located in The Parthenon in Nashville) and Musica (the largest bronze figure group in the United States, located at the roundabout off of Music Row).

Visitors to the gallery can browse over 5,000 sq. feet of floor space with over 500 works of art from a dozen different artists.  The vastness of the space and diversity of work coupled with personable tours of LeQuire Studio creates an engaging, inspiring “backstage” encounter.  Guests enjoy the current exhibits and a close look at Alan LeQuire’s work-in-progress, maquettes from notable projects such as his recent Tennessee Woman Suffrage Monument, and learning more about the process of clay to bronze.

Note:  members please use designated parking around the gallery.

Hope to see you there!
