Tom Vickstrom graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree,
majoring in Hotel Management. He worked in financial management for Sheraton Corporation /
Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 20 years and 6 cities before joining The Hermitage Hotel team in 2003. Vickstrom has also been the hotel’s historian. He and his wife Wanda flourish in research, discoveries, and appreciating local history with hotel guests, employees, and Nashvillians. He is a member of Tennessee Trails Association, specializing in urban Nashville hikes, and enjoys membership in a local Sherlock Holmes book club.
